Milan FICTS screening Iranian lineup

A lineup of Iranian films has been attending the 37th Milano FICTS international festival.

Three of the selected Iranian titles are the short works ‘Six Homes’ by Ebad Adibpour as well as ‘Goodbye Olympic’ and ‘Mr. Sport’ by Mojtaba Pourbakhsh.

Award winning ‘Zero to Podium’ (Platform) by Sahar Mosayyebi, ‘Highway’ by Farnaz Amini, ‘Red Rectangle’ by Hassan and Hossein Seyyed-Khani and Fereydoun Najafi’s ‘The Skier’ are the selected features in competition at the Italian event.

Besides the short and feature length works, the festival has a documentary section which has picked Mohammad-Ali Hami’s ‘Clawing the Sky’ and Rouhollah Akbari’s ‘Jalil and Khalil’ for competition.

The FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs) is the organizer of the event, which is the final phase of the World FICTS Challenge that runs in 16 countries, including Iran.

The Tehran FICTS will be held in collaboration with the National Olympic and Paralympics Committee, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, IRIB and the Tehran Municipality.

The Milan FICTS kicked off on October 25 and it is set to wrap up on October 30, 2019.
